Required Documents for Uzbekistan Short-term Visa

 

1. Application Form 

  • Fully completed in English and signed and dated by the applicant himself (signed by both parents in case of minors, below the age of 18)

2. Passport

  • Validity minimum of three months beyond the date of your departure from Uzbekistan.
  • Signed by bearer
  • Passport not older than 10 years (issued in the last 10 years)
  • At least one or two free “visa pages”
  • Undamaged pictures securely affixed with/to passport

3. Photo

  • NEW! Should not be older than 6 months.
  • A frontal view of the face-covering 70-80% (32-26mm) of the photo.
  • A uniform and white background.
  • Clear facial features and eyes – not covered by hair or glasses frame.
  • 3.5x4.5 size

4. ID Card Copy

5. Residence Permit/Visa Copy (if your country of residence and citizenship are different)

6. Photocopies

  • Copy of the main page of your passport
  • Copies of previous visas
  • Copy of visa for the final destination (if any)

7. List of Documents Required by Organizations and Companies to Invite Foreigners:

  • Copies of the passports of the person invited, the head of the organization, the person authorized by the organization to submit the documents
  • Copies of the organization's documents (license, certificate, etc.)
  • Copies of the orders to the head and to the authorized person
  • Copy of the power of attorney of the authorized person
  • Copies of tickets should be provided for the arrival of a visa at the airport "Tashkent"
  • Certificate of employment of the invited person

8. List of Documents Required by Persons to Invite Foreigners:

  • Copies of passports of the invited and the inviting person
  • The original invitation issued by the Uzbekistan Internal Affairs Authorities
  • Copies of documents confirming the relationship between the invited and the inviting person
  • For arrival visa at the airport "Tashkent" copies of the tickets should be provided

9. After a Visa Confirmation Has Been Issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, You Must Submit the Following Documents to the Nearest Uzbek Embassy/Consulate:

  • Passport or document of a stateless person whose expiry date must exceed the period of validity of the visa not less than 3 months
  • Two photos of passport size
  • Two completed Uzbek Visa Application Forms

10. For Minors:

  • Copy and English translation of either birth certificate/proof of adoption/custody decree if parents are divorced/death certificate of parent
  • Letter of consent from parent/s or legal guardian/s, if traveling unaccompanied

Eligible nationals to this visa type can obtain Uzbekistan visa in two different ways:

  2. Getting Uzbekistan visa on arrival

If you want to obtain a visa on arrival you should have a Visa Confirmation (stamp), issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan. The duration of the visa will be 30 days any period of 90 days. Visa on arrival can be Single or Double entry. You can get an Uzbekistan visa on arrival only at Tashkent International Airport. It is advisable to obtain a visa prior to your arrival in Uzbekistan.
