Moldova official visa is for tourists and their family members traveling to Moldova for purposes related to their political, administrative, or public positions in the governments and public administrations of the country. How to get Moldova visa? One of the first things that you should do is collect the necessary documents. Those documents are:

• Application Form. Should be completed and signed (in two places) by the applicant. Parents should sign for people under 18.

• Passport. Valid for at least three months beyond planned stay in Moldova, at least two free pages, and not older than ten years.

• Copy of Passport. Copy of all pages that used, copy of the previous passport, copies of earlier obtained visas for Schengen countries (United Kingdom, Ireland, Japan, Australia, the United States, and Canada)

• Photo. 34x45 in color, biometric, and with white background, without facial expression

• National Identity Card and Resident Permit/Visa Copy (if your country of residence and citizenship are different)

• A verbal note or an official letter

The Moldova visa application process lasts for 5-25 days, and the visa for Moldova fee is 40 EURO.

Moldova Tourist Visa

A tourist visa is for people who travel to Moldova for sightseeing places. To receive this visa, you should answer Moldova visa requirements and collect documents. Those documents are:

• Application Form. Should be completed and signed (in two places) by the applicant. Parents must sign for people under 18.

• Passport. Valid for at least three months beyond intended stay in Moldova, not older than ten years, at least two free pages

• Copy of Passport. Copy of all pages that used, copy of the previous passport, copies of earlier obtained visas for Schengen countries (United Kingdom, Ireland, Japan, Australia, the United States, and Canada)

• Photo. 34x45 in color, biometric, and with white background, without facial expression

• Proof of accommodation. Details of reservation and accommodation

• The touristic itinerary

• Invitation declared by the Bureau for Migration and Asylum

• Flight reservation. Reservation for return flight or supporting documents for other means of travel with the program (vehicle registration, driving license, car insurance/green card, bus ticket, and so on.)

• Travel health insurance. A minimum coverage of EUR 30.000

• Financial proof. At least 30 EUR per day, but not less than 300 EUR for a stay shorter than ten days.

The normal processing time for a tourist visa is 5-25 days, and the charge is 40 EURO.

Moldova Private Visit Visa

Moldova Private Visit visa is for people who want to make a private visit to Moldovan citizen or foreigner who lives in Moldova. If you want to get this type of visa for Moldova, you must collect almost the same documents as in the tourist visa (the embassy can require some extra papers). 

• Application Form

Moldova Business Visa

If you want to start a new job in Moldova, you must apply for Moldova visa for business (Moldova business visa). A business visa is issued for these purposes:

• Economic or commercial purposes

• Arrangements or negotiations

• Controlling the use and operation of goods acquired. Furthermore, selling goods under commercial and industrial co-operation agreements. 

• Becoming a shareholder or stockholder of trading companies

Moldova visa requirements and documents are almost the same as other types. There is just one additional paper that you must get: An invitation letter. Transport visa is for foreigners who want to realize their activities related to transport of goods or passengers for a short period. During the application process, you will provide some documents and details. Most of those documents are the same, but there are some extra ones.

• Documents confirming the applicant’s job and the work to be carried out during the stay

• Driving license, the Green Card, and the registration documents of the vehicle

• Certified copy of the license transport company

• Maybe some extra documents

Moldova Sports Visa

Time by time, Moldova hosts various kinds of sports competitions, and athletes or sportsmen (sportswomen) should get a visa to participate in those tournaments. The name of that type of visa is Moldova sports visa, and it lets the applicant stay and participates in competitions in Moldova.
